Ohio judges delay two major opioid trials against pharmacies, distributors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Judges in Ohio have postponed two major opioid trials scheduled to begin within weeks.

A state lawsuit brought by the Ohio Attorney General’s office against pharmaceutical distributors was set to begin next week in Madison County. Instead, Richard McMonagle, a retired Cuyahoga County Common Pleas judge handling the case, delayed it until March.
