Ohio’s lawsuit against drug distributors over opioid crisis set to go before a judge and jury this October

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Ohio is expected to take major drug distributors to trial in October, seeking to hold them responsible for the devastation of the opioid crisis throughout the state.

Retired Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Richard McMonagle this week ordered the trial to begin Oct. 19 in Madison County Common Pleas Court. McMonagle is hearing the case as a visiting judge.
