Summit County provides overdose medications to Western Reserve Hospital as part of opioid lawsuit settlement with Endo Pharmaceuticals

AKRON, Ohio – Summit County announced Monday it has supplied Western Reserve Hospital with the first of three shipments of medications used to treat overdoses received from Endo Pharmaceuticals as part of the company’s settlement with the county in a federal opioid lawsuit.

The county will provide the other two orders of Vasostrict and adrenaline chloride solution to two as yet undetermined medical facilities in Summit County at a later date.
